Ananda has been involved in arboriculture since 2000. Growing up in the San Juan Islands, he began his introduction into tree care when he worked for a well established arborist on Orcas Island. He then trained with two additional certified arborists, one in California, and another in Olympia where he settled. He began Timm’s Tree Care in 2008.
He is dedicated to doing high quality arboriculture work while also addressing his clients’ concerns and interests. He emphasizes optimal pruning techniques, minimal impact removals and a positive and safe workplace. He has been an ISA certified arborist since 2006 and TRAQ certified since 2018.
Amanda has cultivated her lifelong passion for the outdoors by working in forestry and arboriculture since 2012. She has a degree in Forestry from Texas A&M University and has worked in the field as a researcher, urban forester, trail builder, and climber. She enjoys staying curious about sustainability, mycology, and climbing on anything and everything. Amanda is an ISA certified arborist with a Tree Risk Assessment qualification, and a TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional. She joined Timm’s Tree Care in 2021.
Mahriah was first introduced to arborist work in 2018 as a ground worker. She eventually found a company who introduced her to the next level of tree work- climbing. She has been hooked ever since! Having grown up in the PNW, she has a deep love and appreciation for nature and trees, and as a kid she would spend hours in the forest climbing trees, exploring, and appreciating nature. She has worked with Timm’s Tree Care since 2021. She is positive, a hard worker, and a valued part of the team.
Zachary started with Timm’s in the summer of 2023. He is learning the basics of ground work and is interested in learning more about pruning.
